Christian Lloyd is a 4th-year CCS Computing major from San Diego, California. His academic interests include Natural Language Processing, Information Theory, and semantic analysis. Past research includes personal work towards the development of automatic pun detection as well as searching for causal linguistic relationships between two speakers with UCSB Linguistics Professor Fermin Mocoso Del Prado Martin.

In his free time, Christian enjoys reading, practicing martial arts, and leading trips with the Excursion Club.
